Progress of the Pitje Initiative

Phase 1

The old FABCOS building was completely gutted with a phased renovation and refurbishment that commenced on 1 December 2005. The first phase was completed in May 2006.
Now at full occupancy for this phase of 48; Library section on 1st floor refurbished with reinforced floor, lighting, carpeting and air-conditioning.
Conference facilities and business centre operational.
Large boardroom with full audio visual accommodating 30.
8 meeting rooms accommodating 4 - 12 people.

Phase 2

Development completed 10 January 2007.
22 additional chambers of which 14 were transformation chambers available on 1
December 2006.
Transformation candidate selection process has begun. Restaurant completed and operational.
Gym will be fitted and operational end phase 2.
