BACKGROUND

Eric is a graduate of Walter Sisulu University. He was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa in 1999 and joined the Johannesburg Bar in 2006.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

In the early 1990’s, he worked as Financial Administration Officer for Treasury Section of the Eastern Cape Finance Department. In 1996 started working as a Prosecutor in the district courts and subsequently worked as State Advocate in the Mthatha Director of Public Prosecution Office in 1999. In 2002, he joined the office of the Director of Public Prosecution in Venda Provincial Division (Thohoyandou) as a State Advocate. In 2004, promoted to Natal Provincial Division (Pietermaritzburg) as Senior State Advocate.
