Johannes Christiaan Prinsloo graduated at Rand Afrikaans University in the degrees B.Proc and LLB. He was admitted as an attorney in 2000 and admitted at the Johannesburg Bar in 2006.

After doing articles for two years, Prinsloo was admitted as an attorney in 2000. He practiced as an attorney doing general Litigation in 2002. He started to specialize in Delict and Personal Injury, damages and insurance. Prinsloo was then admitted as an advocate in 2005 and joined the Johannesburg Bar in January 2006.
